Understanding Authorization Holds
You may see a temporary charge on your account when you make a booking. This is an authorization hold, not an actual charge.
- What it is: A temporary hold on your debit or credit card to ensure funds are available.
- How it looks: It may appear as a “pending” transaction or reduce your available balance.
- When it clears: The hold is released if your booking expires or is cancelled. This release can take up to 7 business days, depending on your bank.
Please note: While it might look like a double charge, you will only be charged once your booking is confirmed.
